Zaheer A. Samee joined Frisoli Associates, P.C. as an associate in 2006. Mr. Samee earned his undergraduate degree from University of California, Los Angeles (B.A. 1999) and his law degree from Boston University School of Law (J.D. 2006). At Boston University , Mr. Samee participated in the Second Year Stone Moot Court Competition and was a member of the Boston University Public Interest Law Journal. He also spent a year in law school practicing law under SJC Rule 3:03 as part of the Boston University Civil Litigation Program. Mr. Samee successfully represented the plaintiff in DiLiddo v. Oxford Street Realty, Inc., a housing discrimination case before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. A member of both the Massachusetts and New York bars, Mr. Samee represents clients in connection with bankruptcy, real estate, commercial and consumer contracts, and a variety of transactional and litigation matters.

Recent matters handled by Mr. Samee include:

Successfully moving for summary judgment as to liability for a home developer in an action against an engineering firm for providing erroneous plot plans causing the developer to incur tens of thousands of dollars in remedial construction work.

Securing a favorable settlement for a client seeking to enforce a mechanic's lien for construction work performed on a defendant's residence.

Persuading a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee to abandon her preferential transfer claim to a $44,000 payment to a client by establishing a complete ordinary course of business defense under 11 USC 547(c)(2).
